On today’s show, my guest is Stephen Baker retired, who is the Vice Chairman for the Society for Poole and has a long career in software development. He was the Director and Senior Adviser to the Board (company bought by Opus) at jCatalog Software AG. Stephen is also well travelled and has lived in America, Japan and Germany. His talents also extend to speaking several languages.

On the show we get an overview of Stephen’s career up to date, talk about his travels, how he got involved in obscure computer systems, landed work in Japan, Germany and in America. How Stephen was able to overcome the language barrier and we also discuss technology systems, family life, volunteering work and his work with the Society for Poole.
